The Metropolitan Allied Health Council Inc. and The Allied Health Alliance of Western Australia are pleased to invite prospective sponsors and exhibitors to the: World Congress of Health Professions The Future Now: Challenges and Opportunities in Health

A world congress for health professions, to be held at the Perth Convention Exhibition Centre in, March 2008, Western Australia.

A vibrant sponsorship and exhibition presence is foreseen as a key element of the Congress. The Management Committee takes pleasure in inviting your consideration of the opportunity that this Congress presents. Full details are enclosed. 100% of sponsorship income will contribute to the staging of the event.

The Event

The Congress seeks to open possibilities for health professionals, inclusive of all cultures and disciplines, through the dissemination of information, the development of networks and forums and the evolution of cultural and professional exchange.

Those attending will find ample opportunity to problem solve their difficulties, share their achievements, find solutions and to advance new directions.

We anticipate a rich meld of discoveries, developments and diversity.

The Venue

The Perth Convention Exhibition Centre is ranked as the leading business tourism venue in Australia, having won six prestigious industry awards in six months.

Up to 500 employees, including a small fulltime team of around 80 people, ensure a strong service and quality culture for every event held at the Perth Centre.

The state of the art, three level Perth Centre is located in the heart of Perth's CBD and caters for up to 5,000 delegates. Its major facilities include:

  • A 2,500-seat tiered auditorium
  • 19 specialist meeting rooms varying in size
  • 6 exhibition pavilions spanning 16,554 sq metres of exhibition space
  • 1,700-seat ballroom with spectacular views of Perth's famous Swan River

Floor to ceiling glass foyers on each of the three levels provide panoramic city and river views. The foyers are ideal for breaks and display areas and enable organisers to link facilities within the venue to maximise flexibility and creativity.

The Perth Centre houses some of the most advanced technical facilities and communications infrastructure in the Southern Hemisphere, and is the only convention centre in Australia to offer permanently installed accredited Wi-Fi Zone wireless internet connectivity.

The Perth Centre's central location, in the heart of Perth's CBD and adjacent to the Swan River foreshore, provides a critical, direct business link to the city for delegates and organisers.

  • A professional exhibition company will be contracted to provide the infrastructure required for a first class display
  • An "exhibitor kit" will be forwarded to registered sponsors
  • Exhibition set up schedule will be completed before conference delegates register to ensure for maximum exposure
  • Delegates will partake morning and afternoon tea, lunch and other components of the Congress amidst the exhibition
  • All subject to approval by management committee and availability
  • All prices exclude GST

  • Cancellations must be received in writing and will incur an administrative fee of $500
